Christina Bergh can turn your photograph into a beautiful work of art. She can weave tapstries in color from any photo that you've taken, or from works of art such as paintings and drawings.
Photo tapestries are hand woven by Christina in our Santa Fe studio using her custom built Jacquard loom. This one of a kind loom was designed by Christina Bergh and is exclusive to The Brown Cow Saddle Blanket Company.
Tapestries are two feet wide and can be woven any length or height desired. Price is $595.00 for a 2x2 foot tapestry, plus $200 for each additional foot.
Our Photo Tapestries are woven from beautiful fine pima cotton threads that Christina dyes by hand here in our studio.
We create the design from your original photo. You can email us a digital file (best if the shot was made with a digital camera) or you can send us a print, slide, or color negative. Quality is best if scanned from the original slide or negative, if available. We can scan the film or print for you to ensure the correct scanning resolution and color settings.
